Stock Status: In Stock
Product Code: MICHU-12-412

This guide is designed to explain watersheds throughout Michigan — what they do and how our actions are connected to water quality. The diagrams, explanations and teaching resources found throughout the guide were developed as a complement to the Michigan Watersheds Map (MICHU-10-706). It is also a helpful resource on its own.
The guide illustrates and explores the following:
  • We all live in and depend upon watersheds.
  • Michigan's geology, climate and land use influence the flow of water through our watersheds and rivers.
  • Our actions on land affect the health of groundwater, rivers and lakes.

The guide also designates key points to help teach the material and also features discussion questions for use in or out of the classroom.
