Available for a limited time, these vouchers allow recipients to register for the cruise(s) of their choice at no cost during VIP early registration before public registration opens this spring.

Buy a voucher for yourself to get first dibs on a favorite cruise, or give an outdoor learning adventure to your friend or loved one!

After your purchase, Summer Discovery Cruise staff will contact you to provide the VIP early registration code(s) that you and your gift recipients will use to select and register for specific cruises at no cost prior to the opening of public registration this spring.

Summer Discovery Cruises are themed educational outings on Lake Erie or Lake St. Clair aboard the Clinton. Each theme introduces you to experts brimming with local history, nature, and lore. Learn more about Summer Discovery Cruises.

Choose from the following cruise lengths and age brackets, and you may purchase any combination of cruises/ages:

Regular cruise (2-2.5 hours)

Adult: $25

Youth under 18 years: $15

Pass a pleasant few hours aboard the Clinton as you explore ecological restoration projects, shipwrecks, majestic Great Lakes freighters, hands-on encounters with real fish, and other themes highlighting the ecology and history of Lake St. Clair or Lake Erie.

Long cruise (4 hours)

Adult: $35

Youth under 18 years: $25

These longer cruises dive deep into Detroit River rum runners, intricate island networks, delicate wetlands, and other themes on Lake St. Clair or Lake Erie.

"Journey through the Straits" cruise (6 hours)

Adult: $40

Youth under 18 years: $30

Travel in the wake of both the early Great Lakes voyageurs and present-day sailors as the Clinton makes its journey between Lake St. Clair and Lake Erie. Both an upbound and a downbound trip will be available. For either journey, a shuttle will bring participants back to their vehicles.
